Lisa McConlogue is the Chief Executive Officer at Fairmount Behavioral Health System. She has worked in Behavioral Health since 1996 and maintains ANCC certification as a Clinical Nurse Specialist in Psychiatric/Mental Health Nursing. Prior to joining Fairmount, Lisa worked in Trenton, New Jersey for the past 13 years with progressive leadership positions from Nurse Manager for the Inpatient Mental Health Unit to Director of Mental Health Services and finally to Divisional Director of Patient Care Services where her areas of responsibility included a psychiatric screening center, a partial hospitalization program, an inpatient mental health unit, two medical/surgical units, a cardiac telemetry unit, a surgical/trauma unit, and a medical observation unit. Lisa also teaches in undergraduate and graduate nursing programs at Thomas Edison State College. She is a member of the American Psychiatric Nurses Association, American Organization of Nurse Executives, Sigma Theta Tau, and Phi Kappa Phi National Honor Society.
Lisa earned her PhD in Nursing Education in 2014, MSN from Temple University in 2000, and BSN from The College of New Jersey in 1996. Her doctoral dissertation focused on the nursing student experience during their psychiatric didactic and clinical experiences and how that experience influenced their view of psychiatric nursing as a career choice. She provided a poster presentation of her dissertation work at the Organization of Nurse Executives, New Jersey Chapter, Research Day on June 12, 2015.

Kendall L. Keller, MPH is the Director of Risk and Quality Management & Partial Hospitalization Program at Fairmount Behavioral Health System. Her primary responsibility is to ensure patient safety and quality of care. Mrs. Keller works closely with all clinical and non-clinical departments to identify opportunities for performance improvement. Upon trending analysis, departmental action plans are developed and progress is monitored. Additionally, Mrs. Keller works to ensure Fairmount Behavioral Health System maintains its accreditation status by The Joint Commission, as well as functions in accordance with regulations set forth by the Department of Public Welfare and the Department of Drug and Alcohol Programs. She serves as the Hospital's Patient Safety Officer, Privacy Officer and Compliance Officer.
In regard to the Partial Hospitalization Program, Mrs. Keller’s primary responsibility is to ensure the individuals served receive care and treatment in accordance with the facility’s Mission, Vision and Values. The Program is designed to provide interactive and comprehensive group and individual therapies during daytime hours, and to ensure individuals are safe to return to their personal living arrangement during non-program hours. It is the goal of the program to offer Partial Hospitalization Program participants a safe place to begin their recovery journey and to develop healthy behaviors with dignity.
Kendall, a Pennsylvania native, graduated from Temple University with a Bachelor's of Science in Public Health. She later received her Master's degree in Public Health from The George Washington University in Washington, D.C. Prior to working for Fairmount, Mrs. Keller served as the Quality Assurance Coordinator for Pennsylvania Clinical Schools where she was later promoted to Director of Risk Management and Quality Assurance.

W. Anthony Tortella is the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for Fairmount Behavioral Health System (FBHS). Under the direction of the Chief Executive Officer, the CFO plans, directs, monitors, coordinates, interprets and administers all functional activities and policies related to treasury and finance, accounting, budgeting, provider reimbursement fees, insurance, financial analysis, and new product design and pricing within FBHS.
Mr. Tortella came to FBHS in November 2010 with over sixteen years of experience in the financial, health care, and hospital industries. He has management experience in accounting, budgeting, board presentations, cash management, claims processing, financing, investments, information systems, regulatory relations and strategic planning.
Mr. Tortella earned his BS from Rowan University in Glassboro, NJ and his MBA from St. Joseph's University in Philadelphia. He has previously served as a CFO for Sunbury Community Hospital, practiced in Public accounting for several years, and held a managerial role with the University of Pennsylvania.

Dr. Silvia Gratz joined the medical staff at Fairmount on June 26, 2006 and was appointed the Chief Medical Officer in January 2011. She is also the Medical Director of N3, our High Acuity adult psychiatric unit.
Dr. Gratz completed her undergraduate studies at the LaSalle University, Cum Laude and received her D.O. from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1985. After her internship in Internal Medicine at Hahnemann University Hospital, she completed a residency in adult psychiatry at Hahnemann University Hospital in 1989 and a two-year National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) sponsored fellowship in Clinical Psychopharmacology in 1991 at the Eastern Pennsylvania Psychiatric Institute (EPPI).
Board Certified in Psychiatry, by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN), since 1998, Dr. Gratz has provided her expertise in many regional psychiatric facilities and has served as a Professor and Lecturer in the Department of Psychiatry at EPPI and the Drexel University College of Medicine. Notable positions include Director of ECT and Medical Director of the Schizophrenia Center at EPPI, Director of Adult Inpatient Services at MCP/Hahnemann and Interim Medical Director of Hahnemann University Hospital, Psychiatric Medical Care Unit. She has been the recipient of many teaching awards while on staff at MCP/ EPPI as well as the Exemplary Psychiatry Award from the National Institute of Mental Illness (NAMI) and the MCP Physician Star Award for the Most Dedicated Doctor.
Dr. Gratz is an active member of many professional organizations including the American Psychiatric Association, American Medical Association, and the American Society of Clinical Psychopharmacology. She has been appointed and elected to several leadership positions and committees including the Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee and Chairperson, Performance Improvement Committee at EPPI; and the Drug Safety Monitoring Board at the Drexel University College of Medicine. Dr. Gratz was one of the original 2 Principal Investigators in Philadelphia for CATIE – a research program studying treatment effectiveness and outcomes in schizophrenia. Dr. Gratz has also published several journal articles and book chapters on psychopharmacology particularly focusing on the treatment of Neuroleptic Malignant Syndrome and has been the recipient of several research grants exploring treatment of Psychotic Disorders.

Wanda Nolasco, RN, MSN, MBA is Fairmount’s Chief Nursing Officer. A nurse from Coamo, Puerto Rico, Wanda graduated from Pontifical Catholic University with her BSN in 1988 and subsequently obtained her MSN in Mental Health and Psychiatric Nursing in 1998. Recently, Wanda obtained her Master’s in Business Administration, with specialization in Health Services, from Keller Management at Devry University.
Wanda, a former First Lieutenant with the Army Reserve Nurse Corps, has twenty-eight years of experience as a nurse in both behavioral and acute healthcare settings. Fourteen of these years have been spent in Philadelphia, PA, where her role in leadership has developed from Charge Nurse, PI Coordinator, Clinical Director and Behavioral Services Coordinator, to most recently Vice President of Patient Services and Director of Nursing.
During her time in Puerto Rico, Wanda’s role advanced from an ICU/ER Nurse, to a Research Nurse, a Clinical Nurse Specialist for a Partial Hospitalization Program, and as a Professor of Nursing within the Undergraduate Program at Inter-American University of Puerto Rico, School of Nursing. Her experience and passion for the Behavioral Health field is unprecedented and we are delighted to have her lead our Nursing Team.

Anne-Marie Esposito, MS, LPC is the Director of Clinical Services at Fairmount Behavioral Health System. Anne-Marie was initially hired in February 2011 as a Cognitive Behavioral Therapist and Supervisor and was subsequently promoted as a Child/Adolescent Unit Manager and then again to Director of Child and Adolescent Services in December 2013. Most recently, she was promoted to her current position in January 2015.
Anne-Marie is a Licensed Professional Counselor who has extensive clinical experience working with children and adolescents as a family based therapist, clinician, supervisor and team leader. She has held various clinical roles in family based, case management and outpatient programs as well as providing intensive treatment in multiple residential settings to adjudicated adolescent male sex offenders. She also has a background in providing clinical and program supervision to therapy teams.
Anne-Marie has expertise in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), trauma informed care, violence prevention and juvenile probation and experience providing services to youth struggling with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Attention Deficit Disorder (ADHD), Depression, Autism Spectrum Issues and Anxiety. Her many accomplishments include staff development, training and implementation of evidence-based practices and recipient of the Montgomery County Child and Adolescent Service System Program (CASSP) award. She has also been featured as a participant on panels in her fields of expertise, including Delaware County's Safe School Summit.
Anne Marie graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Education from West Chester University and received her certification in elementary education in 1998. She continued her graduate studies at West Chester and received a Master of Education degree with specialization in higher education and elementary education counseling in 2003. Anne Marie received her license in Professional Counseling in 2007.

James Newsome joined Fairmount Behavioral Health System in July, 2012 as the Director of Chemical Dependency Services. James has over 25 years of both treatment and management experience. In 1980 James began his career in Harrisburg Pennsylvania as a County Coordinator with an agency providing community based foster care services for at risk youth.
James started working in residential substance abuse treatment in 1981. He eventually became the Administrator for one of the largest substance abuse treatment programs for juveniles in Pennsylvania. He simultaneously provided administrative oversight for two Residential Treatment Facilities and a smaller residential substance abuse program located in Erie Pennsylvania.
James graduated from Lock Haven State University with a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education in 1980. He received a Masters of Art degree in Counseling from Marshall University in 2000 and is a Licensed Professional Counselor.

Jerry Kosmin joined Fairmount Behavioral Health System in January, 2001 as the Director of the Admissions Department. In April, 2003 he was promoted to his current position as Director of Business Development. Previously, he worked for PennFriends, a managed care organization and was the Director of Mental Health Treatment Services for Horizon House, a large community mental health organization. Between 1991 and 1998, Jerry held various roles with Advantage Recovery Network/PsychResource Associates and last held the position of Practice Director for one of their Intensive Outpatient Program sites in Philadelphia.
Jerry has over twenty years of achievement in the behavioral healthcare industry both in the private and public sector. Jerry is an accomplished marketing/business development director, program/clinical development leader, administrative and fiscal manager.
Jerry graduated from The University of Delaware with a Bachelors degree in Psychology 1989. He then received a Masters of Science degree in Counseling Psychology from the State University of New York-Albany in 1990. Jerry also graduated from St. Joseph's University in 2001 with a Masters in Health Administration. He has been licensed as a Professional Counselor since 2001.

Vance has been employed at Fairmount Behavioral Health System since January 1997, serving as the Director of Plant Operations. He oversees maintenance, housekeeping, dietary, security, grounds, communications and transportation. He has directed Fairmount through five successful JCAHO inspections. During all major and minor construction projects, Vance manages and serves as the liaison between architects, civil engineers, mechanical engineers and general contractors on all projects, ensuring that buildings meet codes (AIA, NFPA, etc.) and that company guidelines are achieved.
Vance was promoted to Regional Director of Plant Operations in January 2011, assuming oversight of the physical plant and construction operations at another UHS sister hospital in Philadelphia. Vance also serves as the hospital Safety Officer at both facilities to ensure the safety of all patients and employees. He has been a member of the NFPA for over 10 years.
Prior to Fairmount, Vance was employed by ServiceMaster Management Services where he was awarded the ServiceMaster PRT Award in recognition of outstanding operational achievement. Vance's engineering background stems from his training in the U.S. Navy as a machinist mate aboard a nuclear submarine. In this capacity he acquired several Naval Engineering Certificates and four Letters of Commendation for his tireless dedication while onboard the USS Sunfish.

Gianna Scipione, MBA is the Director of Performance Improvement at Fairmount Behavioral Health System. Her primary responsibility is to ensure patient safety and quality of care. Gianna chairs the Performance Improvement Committee, which examines existing systems and processes of the facility to continually improve quality and better meet the needs of our patients/customers. Additionally, Gianna works to ensure Fairmount Behavioral Health System maintains its accreditation status by The Joint Commission, as well as functions in accordance with regulations set forth by the Department of Human Services, the Department of Drug and Alcohol Programs, the Department of Health, and the Centers for Medicare/Medicaid Services.
Gianna, a Pennsylvania native, graduated from St. Joseph’s University with a Bachelor's of Science in Finance. While working full-time at Fairmount, she later received her Master's degree in Business Administration from National University, located in La Jolla, CA. Gianna is also in the process of obtaining a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services, specializing in Child & Family Welfare, which is expected in August 2016. Gianna started with Fairmount since September 2012 in the capacity of an intern in the Risk/Quality Department. She has since been promoted to Quality Assurance Coordinator and subsequently to Quality Assurance Manager.

Nicole Vandermay serves as the Director of Risk Management; her primary responsibility is to ensure a safe and therapeutic environment throughout the facility. She works on improving quality and safety through staff education and ongoing data analysis. She also serves as the Hospital's Patient Safety Officer and Privacy Officer.
Nicole started her career at Foundations Behavioral Health as a Clinical Care Manager in the BHRS department. Nicole then transferred to Boston to serve as the Risk and Quality Manager with a UHS affiliate facility for 3 years prior to moving back to her home state of Pennsylvania. She holds an undergraduate degree in Psychology and a Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy from LaSalle University. Nicole has focused her therapeutic training in working with families with recent refugee status.

Patrick D. Boyle, Psy.D. is currently the Director of Psychological Services and the Clinical Director of Adult Services at Fairmount Behavioral Health System. Dr Boyle began his career at Fairmount in February 2014 as the Clinical Director of the Chemical Dependency Program . Dr. Boyle received his Doctorate in Clinical Psychology in August 2012 from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM). He also received a Masters degree in Counseling and Clinical Health Psychology from PCOM in May 2007 and a Masters degree in Clinical Psychology from PCOM in 2010. Dr. Boyle is a licensed Clinical Psychologist in the state of Pennsylvania.
Dr. Boyle has had significant experience treating and conducting research with individuals diagnosed with serious mental illnesses and individuals diagnosed with substance abuse disorders. Most recently, Dr. Boyle worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow and psychologist under the supervision of Aaron T. Beck, M.D., founder of Cognitive Therapy, at the Aaron T. Beck Psychopathology Research Center at the University of Pennsylvania. Under Dr. Beck’s supervision, Dr. Boyle implemented treatment and disseminated research on the Cognitive Therapy treatment of Schizophrenia and substance abuse disorders. Dr. Boyle has also had years of experience implementing and training individuals in the Recovery Movement and Recovery principles. His doctoral dissertation focused on the link between cognitive insight and the principles of the recovery movement in individuals diagnosed with SMI. Dr. Boyle also has experience integrating clinical health psychology into medical settings, specifically to improve health and psychological outcomes for individuals diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. Dr. Boyle has experience working as a therapist and intern in inpatient psychiatric facilities, Assertive Community Treatment Teams, a medical hospital, outpatient clinics, and psychiatric rehabilitation clubhouses.

Deb has been employed with Fairmount Behavioral Health System since January 1997. Prior to joining Fairmount, Deb worked in various management positions with a behavioral health managed care company. Deb has extensive experience as an Addictions Counselor working with dually diagnosed men and women at numerous outpatient treatment facilities throughout the Philadelphia area.
Deb has a Bachelor's degree in Behavioral and Health Services from Philadelphia University.

Brian joined Fairmount Behavioral Health System in 2007 as Director of Quality Improvement. The following year, he assumed leadership of the Risk Management Program, acting as the Patient Safety Officer, Facility Compliance Officer, Privacy Officer, and Risk Manager. Immediately prior to joining the Fairmount team, Brian spent 6 years as the Director of the Crisis Response Center at Albert Einstein Medical Center. In that role, he was instrumental in the development of the Crisis Response model of delivering emergency psychiatric services to children and adolescents—the only such service in the region. Brian began his career in behavioral health services working in group homes for the developmentally disabled, and has spent 30 years as a clinician, supervisor, director, and administrator in substance abuse and mental health outpatient settings. For several years he maintained a private practice, treating individuals with co-occurring substance abuse and mental health disorders.
An Ohio native, Brian moved to the Delaware Valley in 1992. He earned his undergraduate degree in Psychology from Kent State University, and a Master's degree in Counseling Psychology from Temple University.

Cynthia Ortiz, MBA is the Director of Physician Services at Fairmount Behavioral Health System. She serves as the primary liaison for Fairmount physicians with outside stakeholders, department directors and administration to ensure coordinated and efficient operations related to Physician Services. Working alongside Fairmount’s Chief Medical Officer, Ms. Ortiz directs system-wide quality, ensures regulatory and accreditation compliance, and assists with the development of new business opportunities for physician activity.
Prior to her current role, Cynthia served as the Quality Assurance Coordinator at Fairmount, providing oversight and support to all clinical and non-clinical areas with reference to regulatory requirements and performance improvement initiatives. She assisted the hospital in maintaining its accreditation status by The Joint Commission, as well as function in accordance with regulations set forth by the Department of Public Welfare and the Department of Health. Through her work, Ms. Ortiz ensured patient safety and quality of care.
Cynthia, a New Jersey native, graduated from Ursinus College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Spanish. She later received a Master in Business Administration, with specialization in Healthcare Management, from the University of Scranton. While a student at Ursinus, Cynthia worked at Wordsworth Academy and Human Services as an intern for their Partial Hospitalization Program for Children and Adolescents. Upon graduation, she joined Mental Health Management Inc., within the Philadelphia Prison System, as a Quality Assurance Data Coordinator.
Sarah Jacoby, MA

Sarah Jacoby returned to Fairmount Behavioral Health System in April, 2015 as the Assistant Director of Admissions. Sarah began her career at Fairmount in 2008 as an Assessment Counselor in the Admissions Department. Prior to her return to Fairmount, Sarah worked in the Crisis Response Center at Friends Hospital for several years, where she became the Clinical Lead and eventually Manager of the Admissions Department.
Sarah graduated from DeSales University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Clinical/Counseling Psychology in 2007. She received a Masters of Art degree in Clinical/Counseling Psychology from La Salle University in 2010.
Francisco Franqui joined Fairmount Behavioral Health on January 2016 as the as the Assistant Director of Admissions. He began his career as an HIV case manager serving mainly the Latino community. This role gave him a comprehensive introduction to the different types of treatment available in the areas of physical health, addictions and mental health. Francisco further expanded his knowledge in mental health and developed a particular interest in psychopharmacology while working in utilization review for a major psychiatric hospital. He then joined Community Behavioral Health (CBH), a behavioral health insurance company, which ultimately led to a management role over a 14 year career. As a supervisor for a care management team at CBH, Francisco monitored the implementation of medical necessity criteria for a large number of behavioral health hospitals and assessment centers in the Philadelphia area. This close relationship with all service providers picked his interest in Fairmount, generally recognized as one of the most dynamic health care providers.
Francisco is a native of Puerto Rico that came to the continental United States to pursue college studies. He has a Bachelors Degree from the University of Wisconsin (Madison) and a Masters Degree in Social Service from Bryn Mawr College. He is also fully bilingual and has a particular interest in cross-cultural perspectives.
