Charles
S. McLister joined Fairmount Behavioral Health System in
October of 2009. Previously, he was a Divisional Director
with Cornell Companies, Inc., managing the operations of
multiple human service facilities in a national market
(1999-2008). Between 1994 and 1999, he worked at Seabrook
House, Inc. where he worked in numerous roles and eventually
became the Director of Outpatient Services. He has spent 20
years as a clinician, supervisor, and senior manager,
providing or supervising services such as drug and alcohol
rehabilitation, treatment for specialized diagnoses, gender
specific programming, alternative education, and behavior
management services.
Chuck has a Master of Applied Psychological Research degree
and a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Penn
State University. He received his MBA from Villanova
in 2010. He is also a Certified Addictions Counselor and
Certified Clinical Supervisor with the Pennsylvania
Certification Board.
Chuck is married with three children.

Ellie was
initially hired in October 2006 as the Director of the
Partial Hospitalization Program before being promoted to her
current position. Ellie is an Advanced Practice Nurse with
more than 10 years of diversified experience as a healthcare
manager providing supervision, training, project managment,
direct patient care, and various operational duties.
Ellie received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the
University of Delaware and a Masters of Science in Nursing
from the University of Pennsylvania. She is a Licensed
Registered Nurse.
Ellie has held various nursing positions in acute medical
and behavioral facilities, nurse recruitment organizations,
and pharmaceutical companies and most recently was a Patient
Care Team Facilitator at a renowned children's hospital in
the region. Ellie's many accomplishments include staff
development, employee retention, and redesign of workflow
processes within the organizations she has worked.

Jack
Plotkin

Jack Plotkin
was born and raised in Central Bucks County. He graduated in
1993 from Bucks County Community College with an RN degree.
In 2003 he earned his BSN from the University of Delaware.
Jack is also certified in mental health nursing.
Jack initially worked at Woods Services as a Psychiatric
Technician for over 16 years; all of it with children and
young adults. Jack’s first nursing job was on an adult unit
at Atlantic City Medical Center (ACMC) before becoming a
Charge Nurse at the crisis center there. He worked ACMC for
almost five years. Jack then went to CHOP where he was the
Charge Nurse on the Child and Adolescent Unit. Most
recently, he was the Charge RN at Albert Einstein’s Crisis
Response Center since May 2000 and then was promoted to
Manager in October 2001. Jack was recently hired as the
Program Director for Fairmount’s Child/Adolescent Services
in April 2005. |

Lauri Byer
has been an employee of Fairmount Behavioral Health System
since the Spring of 2007. For the past two years she has
worked as the Weekend Supervisor until her recent promotion
to Director of Adult Clinical Services. Lauri has worked in
the field of behavioral health/ human services for over
twenty years. Senior Management experience includes the
Director of Nursing at Charter Hospital of Pasco County,
Florida and the Director of Clinical Services of The Retreat
of South Florida.
Lauri holds undergraduate degrees in Psychology and Nursing
and is currently enrolled in a Masters of Health Care
Administration at Drexel University. |

Mary Anne has
been employed at Fairmount Behavioral Health System for 12
years. During her first two years, Mary Anne was served as a
Psychiatric Technician on the Adolescent Unit. During those
two years, she was promoted to Supervisor of the Psychiatric
Technicians and also assisted the Social Workers.
In 1999, Mary Anne began working on the Chemical Dependency
Unit as a Counselor. In 2005, she was promoted to Lead
Counselor and to Clinical Supervisor in 2007. In 2009, Mary
Anne was promoted to Program Director of Chemical Dependency
Services. She is an Internationally Certified Alcohol and
Drug Counselor and an Internationally Certified Co-Occurring
Disorders Professional. Mary Anne also has experience in
working with the MH/MR population as well as the deaf and
blind.

Cara has been
employed at Fairmount since 1994. She began as a Counselor
in the Admissions Department, and was promoted throughout
the department to her current role as Director. Cara
completed her undergraduate studies in English Literature at
LaSalle University in 1992, and received her Master's Degree
in Education in the School Psychology Department at Temple
University in 1993. She completed a two-year school
psychology internship with the Philadelphia School District.
She also has experience as the Director of a psychiatric
crisis center. Her background in school psychology and
working in a mental health crisis center, has influenced her
interest in the treatment of children, adolescents and
adults with mental health issues.

Shauna was
promoted to Director of Adult Services in August, 2005 and
then to her current position in January, 2010. She had
initially been hired as a Social Worker on one of our adult
psychiatric units in August, 2004. Prior to working at
Fairmount, Shauna was employed for five years at a
behavioral health managed care company. Additionally, Shauna
has experience working with women and children in domestic
abuse shelters, adolescents in group homes and MH/MR clients
in group homes. Shauna received her Bachelor's Degree in
Psychology from Penn State University in 1999 and a Master's
Degree of Social Work from Temple University in 2004.

Brian joins
our management team after serving for six years as the
Director of the Crisis Response Center at Albert Einstein
Medical Center in Philadelphia.
Brian began his 29-year career in behavioral health services
working in group homes for the developmentally disabled. An
Ohio native, he moved to the Delaware Valley in 1992. Brian
earned his undergraduate degree in Psychology from Kent
State University, and a Master’s degree in Counseling
Psychology from Temple University. In 1996, Brian was named
Director of Behavioral Health Services at NorthEast
Treatment Center’s Bridge Street Counseling Center, where he
was instrumental in the development of their new outpatient
psychiatric clinic. At NET, Brian gained broad experience in
chemical dependency and psychiatric treatment approaches,
and for several years maintained a small private practice
for dually diagnosed patients. In 2001, Brian joined
Einstein’s Department of Psychiatry as their Quality
Assurance Coordinator, where he developed his interests and
skills in Quality Management and regulatory affairs.
