Adolescent Treatment

Youth Treatment Programs

Adolescents experience many physical and emotional changes. For many, life becomes overwhelming due to underlying depression, family conflicts, stress, trauma or abuse. Fairmount Behavioral Health System helps adolescents (ages 12 to 17) develop coping skills and build self-esteem to be able to return home and back to school. Adolescent boys and girls stay on separate and secure units.

Whatever the reason for your adolescent’s visit to Fairmount, our goal is to provide an environment in which he or she may succeed in making a positive life change. You can find more details about our adolescent program below. Visit our resources page for more on adolescent behavioral health.
