A Commitment to Education
Fairmount Behavioral Health System recently completed a renovation and modernization of the adolescent classroom. Brand new flooring and furniture has been installed to create a more comfortable learning experience for our pediatric population. We also created 13 brand new work stations, each with a computer so patients can complete their homework and computerized assignments.
Every adolescent patient spends an hour of their day in the classroom learning from a certified special education teacher. Our teacher also provides developmentally appropriate curriculum in reading, writing and math.
